Can you send me a brochure? [back to top]
We do not have a printed brochure. We only have an online brochure as we find this cost effective thus keeping our prices as low as possible.
How can I order my wedding stationery from Leonico Designs? [back to top]
We are currently developing an online shopping cart system where everything will be ordered through the website. In the meantime if you wish to order you can do so via our contacts page by requesting an order form. This will be forwarded to you as soon as possible. When you have completed the order form and returned it to us we will email you an invoice for 50% of the total price. You should then send us a cheque or pay this amount via Internet banking. Sorry we do not accept credit card payment for deposits at this time. When we have received payment we will send you one of each item you have ordered. This is to allow you to check the wording and colour to ensure everything is to your satisfaction before we begin your order. Once you are happy with these you can confirm in writing and we will proceed to make your invitations.
I really love your pretty petals design but my bridesmaids are wearing lilac and I would like my stationery to match their dresses. Would it be possible to have this design in lilac? [back to top]
Of course, we want you to be as involved in the design process as you wish and as each design is handmade there are many different permutations possible, so you can choose from a range of colours, designs, and shapes. This allows you to match your stationery to different aspects of you wedding. It is the fine attention to detail that will help bring your special day together, and make it what it should be, one of the most memorable days of your life.
How do I choose the right typeface and colour? [back to top]
Each of our designs comes with a pre-selected typeface and colour. We have chosen these especially to complement the design of the card. However if you would like to change these or simply use black, this is not a problem and there will be a choice on the order form. It's a good idea to keep both the typeface and colour in tune with the stationery design. If, for example, you choose Devotion with pink typeface we will try to match the pink as close as possible to the design on the front of the card.
What design should I choose? [back to top]
Your wedding stationery is the first glimpse of your special day that you give to your guests, so you want to choose it carefully. You will need to think about the overall theme of your wedding, whether it is a very traditional fairytale wedding or ultra modern and contemporary, or perhaps just somewhere in-between. Either way, we have something to suit you. For a traditional theme Golden Hearts might be appropriate, whereas something like polka dots will be sure to let your guests know they are likely to be in for a fun day.
What wedding stationery do I need? [back to top]
Each design is available as a complete range:
Wedding invitations are traditionally sent out by the hosts of the wedding. This was traditionally the bride's parents, however nowadays it is just as likely to be the couple themselves. If divorced parents are hosting the wedding, wording can get complicated but the overall style remains the same. We have a range of wording for you to choose from or if you would prefer you could compose your own for a more personal touch.

Evening Invitations are used when there are additional guests invited to the evening reception. They are normally sent out at the same time as the invitations giving guests plenty of time to make arrangements and also to avoid any confusion as to which part of the celebration to which guests are invited.
Reply Cards are sent out with the invitations. They are supplied with their own envelopes, which may be stamped and addressed. This encourages the guests to reply quickly.
Orders of Service are given out to guests before the ceremony by the ushers. They state the order of the ceremony including entrance music, hymns, prayers, marriage and benediction. You should supply one for each guest and extra for the clergy and choir.
Menus can be used for either a sit down meal or buffet. They let the guests know what the food and drink arrangements are. Menus can be printed for each guest or randomly placed around the tables to share.
Thank You Cards should be sent after you return from honeymoon, to thank your guests for joining you on your special day, and for their gifts.
Place Cards are used at the reception to indicate where each guest should sit.
Save The Day cards can be sent out as soon as you set the date for your wedding. This ensures that any important guests know well in advance when your wedding will be and avoids the disappointment of them making other arrangements.
You may not wish to order everything but the full range is available if you desire.
When should I order my wedding stationery and when should I send out the invitations? [back to top]
We advise that invitations should be sent out no later than 6 weeks prior to your wedding day, however 12 weeks is probably best during the busy summer months. In order for you to receive your order in plenty of time we would like at least 6 weeks to produce your invitations, that's 18 weeks before your big day but obviously the more notice you give, the better.
How many should I order? [back to top]
Remember when ordering your stationery that although you may be inviting 80 guests you will not need 80 invitations. Lots of your guests will be couples who can be given one invitation, as can families who live in the same house. It is also a good idea to order a few extra day and evening invitations to allow for any mistakes when addressing them. You may also find that one of your guests may be unable to attend and so you should have extra cards. The same rules apply for Save The Day Cards, Reply Cards and Thank You Cards.
One Order of Service should be ordered for each guest and extra for the clergy and choir.
Menus can be printed for each guest or randomly placed around the tables to share.
